Four ways to tell the teaser day

What's in every reel

• The order. You and Farida explain the idea → the teaser's shots play on the words (when she says the ingredients will run away, the peppers fall off the platter) → the BTS on what you say (the ingredient list, the platter being built, the fake yogurt bowl, you filming) → the teaser plays out on the beat → the Villa Lucca logo → the white card.
• On screen. Name cards for you and Farida, the Villa Lucca logo when you say the name, titles on the key lines, captions in the locked style (Arabic in Arabic, English in English).
• The sound. Every word was checked on the sound itself. The music is muffled under the talking and drops in when the teaser starts.

1 · The ingredients escape

Opens on you: 'a very interesting concept for Villa Lucca, a full AI shoot'. Then your selfie chat with Farida (the ingredients will run away), your 'ingredients moving around throughout Villa Lucca', the fake Greek yogurt bowl ('Cream… all just for the shoot'), her 'I saw a sneak peek, it was amazing'. Then the full teaser. Music: Motorbass – Flying Fingers (the bass drops when the teaser starts).

2 · Episode one

54 s · English first

Opens on Farida: 'This is episode one'. Then your hook and 'we're gonna do something very cool we've never done before', her idea, yours, the rock-paper-scissors bet ('whoever loses has to eat it'), 'Are you excited?' 'Very excited', then the full teaser. Music: Stacks (the full beat comes back when the teaser starts).

3 · The fake yogurt

Opens on the bowl: 'Fake Greek yogurt bowl, but instead of Greek yogurt we put… cream'. Then 'all just for the shoot', the bet, you eating it, why you're doing all this, then the full teaser. Music: The Ironsides – The Web.

4 · The ingredients escape — short

38 s · six teaser shots

Video 1 cut down: the hook, the idea from both of you, 'Excited to see the result?' 'So excited', then six of the teaser's shots on the beat. Music: Flying Fingers.

Your calls

• The teaser at the end. Your posted Part 1 isn't on the drives (only on Villa Lucca's Instagram), so the ending is your 10 final shots in their story order, cut on the beat. Send me the posted file and it goes in as it is.
• Farida's card. It says only 'Farida'. Tell me her title or her @ and I'll add it.
• The end card. ‘Follow for more’ and @alan_samer. Tell me if you want other words.
• Left out on purpose. Lines where the two transcripts didn't agree on the words, so the captions could be wrong: 'technology meets … and social media', 'I lost, I'm stuck with it', 'we took all the ingredients'. Also Seif on the phone ('Seif's supposed to be here but he's busy'). Say if you want any of them.
• Music. Three instrumentals from your 09 MUSIC folder: Flying Fingers on 1 and 4, Stacks on 2, The Web on 3. Each one drops when the teaser starts. Swap any by video number.
